I realize it can be hard to digest. There are some things you can do though that might help you process it. And, lots of ways to address that number. I belong to the online diabetes community that can be invaluable with support and resources.
Were you told if this is likely type 1 or 2?

Still haven't been contacted by my doctor yet, just saw the results online. So I don't know if this is type 1 or 2, but given that I'm 37 years old, I'm thinking type 2 is more likely.
