Hello Tanya...I am almost 3 years out with no hip on the left side. I'm on lifelong antibiotics to suppress chronic osteomyelitis (bone infection). Are you mobile at all with walker or crutches? I'm so sorry you are going through all this and I'm hoping I can preserve my Right hip so I can continue to walk with walker and crutches. I would really be interested in how you are getting around. I live in Michigan, USA.
