Hi, Callie,

I'm so sorry to hear about the pain you're going through.

I had CT release surgery on my right hand/wrist this past April, and on my left in late June. Both were done by the same orthopedic hand surgeon. I've had good results from both, although I still have some minor pain and sensitivity around the incision sites.

It's important to work with an occupational therapist, too, as there are exercises that will help you.

Wishing you the best of health!

Thank you so very much for the information. I ended up finding an orthopedic hand specialist who tested for CTS, and tested positive. I actually had the CT release done yesterday, after almost not being released for the procedure due to routine bloodwork results last week. WBC was .9 and Neutrophils (amongst other disturbing readings) were down to 472. My Hematologist made me repeat bloodwork on Monday which resulted in a slight increase in both and enough for everyone to agree to move forward. Left with a small ❤️ bandage from the doctor. Bruised and stiff and tough because it’s my dominant hand. Follow up in two weeks and right now very happy with results!!
