You are very welcome. Self-awareness is so important and it sounds like you are very dialed in with what's going on, good for you!
I can take the 70% cacao dark chocolate, but the 90% stuff is awful. Of course milk chocolate is my favorite, but that doesn't count in the "healthy" category. I still have chocolate, just not as much.
I went from 190 lbs to 160 lbs through a combination of "sugar elimination (cutdown)" and really getting serious about cardio workouts (for me, that's spinning 5x/week). I'm fortunate to be able to do all the exercising I do, and these HIIT sessions on the stationary bike are really important, and I enjoy it.
If you can pull off a switch from sweets to nuts (seeds are good too) that would be terrific. Nuts and seeds are great, we all have our favorites, and an easy snack. and hey if you can gain and then lose 10 lbs, well you know you can do it. If you follow your plan for the holidays, chances are you won't gain much extra weight.

Got through Thanksgiving (2 dinners with only one small piece of pecan pie!). But had a bout of vertigo earlier , which sent me to the ER . Cold may have caused it ( severe nasal congestion affects the ears, MD said it didn’t seem to be crystals in the ears). Trying to eat sweets (?) only once a week. Have not gained any weight !
