I take the Mayo version of the drug. I have a couple severe allergies and it’s the most helpful and I’ll be on it unless something better comes along. The other meds are similar, but Mayo’s is easier with it mixed together and doesn’t taste as bad.
I was at Mayo because I had developed a lot of nodules and mucus plugs in lungs and was diagnosed with bronchiectasis, which is chronic. I had it before Covid.
Do ask about how to get lungs cleared of mucus. I have a clearance routine that is probably over kill for you

I have gone to Lung doctor after COVID and they did CT scan chest from 4/24. I went back to her as I was not getting better. She did CT scan again and compared to previous one and identified mucus. I am at Bringham Women's Long COVID clinic in Boston. She prescribed following:
1) Sputum for bacterial, fungal and mycobacterial culture
2) Initiation of airway clearance regimen: duonebs followed by 3% saline nebs followed by acapella use twice daily
3) If no improvement with this over the next 4 weeks, consider bronchoscopy.
4) Follow up with me in 4-8 weeks.
Would you mind giving me your routine and what else you do?
