I appreciate the links. I would not use a public bidet. Too many germs and who knows what is being spread to your vagina and urethra just as the article says. I have used one overseas in a hotel that was spic and span, but back home my Mother had one installed and we kept it spotless. Cleaned daily just like you clean your toilet. Bleach is best. There is not a nozzle on a good bidet, but a gentle stream that comes out of the bottom of the appliance. Not a sharp jet. Using a public one to me is gross and I would stick to toilet paper in that case. As the article says -- there is a correct way to use one. Flowing from front to back. We used it for years and years and never had a UTI. If I had the room in my BR here I would put one in for myself. I doubt my husband would use it.😁
