Hello fellow migraine sufferer. I’m 64 and have had chronic severe migraines and daily tension headaches for 45 years. Like you I’ve tried everything. Hundreds of more medications, too many to list. Acupuncture, chiropractic, TENS unit, hospitalized at a world renowned clinic at least 7 times, special diets, nerve ablation and finally a pain specialist put me on methadone and started using Botox injections that have helped me for over 6 years without the methadone. However, I’m now experiencing breakthrough headaches that aren’t responding to my migraine medication Amerge of which I can only take 10 per month. I’ve just been researching a surgical procedure called the Reed Procedure that has a 80% success rate. However it’s only performed in Dallas, Texas. I’m obtaining more information now. Best wishes to you. I’m on permanent disability because of the migraines.

I have had migraine and other neck related issues. Have you had a flexion xray? Regular scans showed nothing till flexion showed facet joint issues. After 17 years of cervical vertigo and inability to use my arms, a doctor suggested a C56 transforminal injection which helped tremendously. It's the foramen that is possibly the problem. Ask about that. It constructs the nerves. I will be getting a foraminotimy but you may have this issue somewhere in your neck too.
