I, also have had a cough for over 20 years with no answers why. Many doctors, many tests, many drugs and many disappointments. I was told I have asthma and now have 2 inhalers, 2 nose sprays and an allergy pill... Yet,the cough is still there. It wakes me up at night, interrupts conversation, And worries strangers when I'm in public. I'm exhausted. I have a constant runny nose (one spray helps that), sore throat, and the feel of phlegm in my throat. I'm not sure if I have ever been tested for anything neuropathic...a question at my next appointment. I also have diminished air capacity and cervical myelopathy. I will be interested in other posts.
