As promised, my successful tapering off Effexor (Venlafaxine)

In the past I have tapered off effexor easily by subtracting jus one or two of the spheroids in a capsule every week or less.
I am in uk where we no longer have Pfizer Effexor, we have instead a generic brand called Efexor. The spheroids vary slightly in weight, in number and in active ingredient. This variation has been enough to make taprring impossible. I am one of those highly sensitive to drugs.

There is another , Venlablue, with capsules containing mini tablets of 12.5mg. Unfortunately 12.5mg is far too big a deduction for me. Withdrawal is unbearable.

I am desperate to be rid of venlafaxine and have no risk of relapse now. Is there a way forward I have not tried please?

I was on Venlafaxine for 20 years
I read Deprescribing guidelines by Maudsley Hosp which gives very good information.

I got my doctor to prescribe Venlafaxine solution
I have very slowly reduced to 30mg today from 150 mg daily using a syringe to
Measure small doses
I stick with a specie up to two weeks
37.5mg /5 mls solution

It has been very successful
