My thyroid went to, I’ve been sick since November 2022. I didn’t even think of long Covid, because all my crazy symptoms made me push for thyroid testing about 10 months in. Sure enough my tsh was high, and my thyroglobulin antibodies were high. My blood work for thyroid is good now, with levothyroxine, except for thyroglobulin levels keep rising! (Which is odd but interesting). I’ve been bed ridden, and basically housebound for two years now. The brain fog and dizziness is so frustrating. I use to be a great multitasker, but can only concentrate in small amounts of time.
I’m also sweating like I did when I went into menopause, but the Covid sweat is worse. I am changing pj’s and sheets, it is so annoying. Also developed insomnia, dry eyes, and tinnitus that is very loud. I can’t watch the news, or loud music…..everything seems to stimulating and annoying to my brain. I’m also completely exhausted with this fatigue. I am very interested in trying the hyperbaric oxygen chamber. I finally have grandchildren and was hoping to help care for them. Now I can only watch them if my husband is home too. I’m feeling so stuck.

levothyroxine is one of 4 meds I'm on. I have to take a pill every 12 hours to keep my heart beating. Just a week before the covid induced A-fib incident I had all my cardio tests and Dr. said my heart should easily carry me to 100 (not that I wanted to stick around that long.)
I force myself to keep going, but a more of the home chores have fallen to my husband and I hate that, but he's taken it all in good nauture.
