@charolevista, I add my welcome. I moved your post to the Gynecologic Cancer support group (https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/gynecologic-cancer/) where you can meet others who know first hand about getting the news of ovarian cancer metastacizing to the liver and elsewhere -- members like @corday7578 @mommacandy @leannn @kathrynevans22 @pauldale4 who can journey along side you and your sister.

It sounds like things are moving quickly. It must be so overwhelming, especially with her husband also in treatment for prostate cancer. Thank goodness she has you for support. Now it is our turn to be a support for you. We're here to listen to your concerns and perhaps offer experiences to help you prepare for what to expect, and to reframe hope.

I'm sure you have loads of questions, so fire away. I'll start with a couple of questions myself. Does your sister have a palliative care doctor or nurse as part of her team? They can help with managing symptoms of treatment. How is she managing emotionally? Has she or the family spoken with an oncology social worker?

Yes, my sister have a palliative care team. She is physically and mentally and emotionally extremely exhausted. I sometimes feel like she want to give up , but than I encourage her to keep fighting to live her BEST life . She has so much left inside of her , to just give up , she is going to have to find that enter strength . Prayer 🙏🏽 changes things , we believe in the higher power 🙏🏽✝️ I think she is still grieving the lost of our sister who transitioned on September 3,2024 and than the lost of our brother on November 7,2024🥲🕊😇 my family as a whole has experience some davastated challenges these pass 2 months , my mom is 89 and also has pancreatic cancer and she is on hospice 😥😥 Cancer runs deep in my family . 3 sisters had some form of cancer , my brother pass with brain cancer, lungs, kidney and liver with bone cancer, he also was dialysis. My dad passed away with Esophagus and lung cancer. 37 member in my family on my mom and dad side has died from cancer . I just pray 🙏🏽 Every day , that none of my kids are grandkids get it 😥 I am pretty strong 💪🏽, but there are times when I feel all alone and it seem like everyone depends upon me . I am only one person, but everyone needs something from me . Do anyone in this support deals with the same things ? Thank you so much for a response. 🙏🏽😇🥰
