Do you (Cuzco1968) take any steroid medication? If so, you may wish to discuss with your doctor. There is a rare allergy to steroids that can cause osteonecrosis. This happened to my spouse, resulting in joint replacement.
I just started Evenity yesterday and no side effects (apart from slightly sore arms). I took a Tylenol and antihistamine an hour prior and made sure I was well hydrated.
@cuzco1968 this necrosis of the hip is very concerning. I looked it up and it is loss of blood supply to the hip. These are listed causes:
Osteonecrosis occurs when blood flow to a bone is blocked or reduced. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/avascular-necrosis/symptoms-causes/syc-20369859
Apparently long term use of bisphosphonates can cause necrosis, and Evenity is also anti-resorptive in the last months, mildly so- but you only did 5 months. Mayo says it takes weeks to years for necrosis to develop. Is your doctor attributing it to Evenity? I hope you will report this to the FDA Medwatch so that connection can be evaluated. They will ask your permission to call your doctor https://www.fda.gov/safety/medical-product-safety-information/medwatch-forms-fda-safety-reporting
Were you on a bisphosphonate or Prolia in the past?
This article says that osteoporosis itself can cause necrosis so maybe it will be hard to pin blame on Evenity. We patients need to know!

Interesting that osteoporosis drugs are mentioned as treatment
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/avascular-necrosis/diagnosis-treatment/drc-20369863 It doesn't say which drugs!
I hope that there is treatment for you and that your pain finds some relief!
