Gokhale Method: has anyone taken a workshop?
I saw the Gokhale Method mentioned in someone’s comments and have since taken one of their free workshops. It seems to have some real benefits for posture. Has anyone taken the courses who has had compression fractures that have healed? Just trying to see if it has proven helpful for others with osteoporosis before going further with it.

I have not taken the workshop, but 6 years ago, after an ankle break, I bought her book 8-steps to a pain free back. I found it extremely helpful for being able to walk again, and how to think through exactly how to lie in bed at night (including lying on my side), how to sit in ways that was best for posture and spine. Over the years, I've tried to put in practice and remind myself about her information when feeling pain and just in daily life. I don't know how helpful the workshops would be, but I think her approach is so excellent and practical! She does have a few free videos on her website and on You-tube. I like the little cushion she sells for attaching to chairs for making sure you're sitting in a good position.
I attended a one day workshop and found it very helpful. After a little time to make posture adjustments become automatic, my sciatica pain is gone.
Anyone in their 70s taking bioidentical hormones for osteoporosis
Yes, I’ve been on them for 25 years, most of which I have had slowly deteriorating osteopenia. Now, finally, at 75, my first REMS scan shows I officially have osteoporosis.
