Sex After Surgery: What can I expect?

Well, the surgery itself wasn't bad. No incision pain. The catheter was by far the worst part of the entire surgery and recovery. I did my research before the surgery... so I knew all the potential struggles. But, when I read about incontinence, I assumed it was going to be a lot of urine. For me, so far it has been minor, teaspoon to tablespoon of urine when it happens. And it has only happened 5 or 6 times in four weeks.

I was very worried about erections and dry orgasm. Erections have been better than expected. But it takes some work. Again, from everything I have read this improves over time. I am still hopeful that is the case.

Its been really hit and miss with the dry orgasm. First one was terrible. Next one better. Third wasnt that great. Sort of been the pattern. Again, hopefully something that improves over time.

When I first met with the surgeon... they focused on helping me deal with the side effects. But I havent from them since the surgery.

I am pretty sure dry orgasms will be the norm for you. Prostate and seminal vesicle removal take away all the fluids necessary to carry the sperm from the testicles.
It’s not a big deal - unless you are a porn star 😂
I will say, however, that your orgasms may even be more intense than before - more of a whole body experience.
