Trazadone for sleep

I don't know about trazodone, but when I stared taking Paxil - many, many years ago - I had diarrhea for a few days. It wasn't bad and went away and I'm not even sure the Paxil caused it. I think that Paxil and trazodone are both SSRIs. Not sure if that helps, but thought I'd share.

(Different SSRIs have different effects on people, and there isn't necessarily a correlation. It's a bit of trial and error and what you are prescribed is based, I think, on your specific symptoms. That is, "depression" is a broad category with its own unique symptoms - depending on the person and the specific drug.)

I took trazodone a few times to help with sleep.

It had no side effects other than making me feel drowsy all the time. And it didn't help me sleep much at all.

I have been trying Trazodone for sleep recently. It does keep me asleep, but I am groggy in the morning for too long.
Will try taking half.
