I've read that Chiari Malformation could be the result of my dad being a Veteran and exposed to agent orange and lots of other chemicals, then when he came home could have passed this horrible brain disorder on to me.. has any one else heard the same?
Plus he has Dx of agent orange, seizes, neuropathy in all extremities, chronic headaches sleep apnea and others

Hello @ajgray, I'm not familiar with Chiari Malformation or the causes. Mayo Clinic has a lot of information on the condition - http://mayocl.in/2gtWiOw. The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Strokes also has a lot of information on the condition - http://bit.ly/1KR0kIR.

Hopefully someone else will join in the discussion and can offer more help.

This is interesting. My husband, Vietnam vet, in addition to the AO related heart disease, and in addition to early onset dementia, which I believe to be AO related, also has seizures, chronic headache, and sleep apnea.
