I recommend you take a look at this MC discussion thread, which could give you some insight into your condition: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/gi-disorder-and-internal-shaking/?pg=2

I have SIBO, which is related to motility issues (e.g. gastroparesis). I've been experiencing internal vibrations for over 6 months now. At first this was scary but now I'm used to it. The vibrations are the worst at night when I'm in bed. Initially, they were intermittent, but now they're pretty consistent throughout the night. The vibrations do improve and have even gone away when my SIBO improves, so I can say there appears to be a direct relationship between these two things.

SIBO is very hard to eradicate. I went through a round of the recommend (and extremely expensive) anitbiotic Xifaxan, which didn't help. Diet is everything when it comes to SIBO: Absolutely no sugar or gluten; probably a good idea to eliminate all grains, dairy, and soy, too. Together with an herbal SIBO protocol, I've found relief. Two companies offer herbal products that have been studied and have scientific evidence supporting their use for SIBO; for more info see: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4030608. After a period of time (8 - 12 weeks), I can begin to deviate from this diet for a day or two each week, although I must be very careful with sugar, since bacteria feed on it. But if I deviate for too long my SIBO returns and I have to start over again. It's discouraging but at least I know I can find relief if I adhere to a strict diet.

I highly recommend you get tested for SIBO. It's a breath test and is widely available. Here's the test I took: https://www.triosmartbreath.com/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwm5e5BhCWARIsANwm06gdlUV64rZ7NRmjfTuFvPYNbPvmxg9-LXn7KEQQVLKFYGPoPUd5OTgaAmUPEALw_wcB. This will help you determine if SIBO may be the root of your problem, or if you need to keep looking elsewhere for answers.

Also, if you're not already, I recommend testing your stomach acid (you can read about this by doing a web search) and possibly supplementing with hydrochloric acid (HCl), digestive enzymes, and apple cider vinegar (ACV). These things have helped me with digestion, although not a total cure. There is a direct link between low stomach acid and SIBO. Motility issues are also linked to SIBO, so you may want to consider taking something for that condition, too.

Best of luck to you in your journey back to health.

Thank you so much for all these links. I take a vinegar solution for digestion that the Amish make, but I cannot use it daily without getting ulcers. There is a "natural" antibiotic called Oil of Oregano. It is made by Joy of the Mountains, it's organic, and has the highest amount of the active ingredient that there is. I started taking this daily 4 days ago. It goes under the tongue with a water chaser, and it feels hot, but I am taking it for SIBO, without being tested for it. I was researching why the gastroparesis was getting worse, and despite being seen by a gastroenterologist for years because of the gastroparesis, NEVER did SIBO come up in discussion. Yet, in my own research I find it and I don't mind telling you it made me angry because it hits all the issues I am having. Now, to find out the internal tremors also come with it -- Unbelievable !!!! I was pretty certain it was something to do with my digestion, because the bloating has been getting super bad.
Thank you so much for this. It did make me quite antse at first when I realized it was me and not Cubby vibrating, because my artificial aortic valve was placed on a recall list two years after I got it, and I thought it might have been the valve deteriorating. When I looked online for internal vibrations, I was stunned to find this exists. It shouldn't be so difficult to get this information. Had I known about SIBO 10 years ago, I could have done so much to get rid of it with the Oil of Oregano, before it got so bad that I've had to eliminate so many foods that are good for me.
You might me interested in reading the information about Joy of the Mountains Oil of Oregano. Totally natural antibiotic. I looked up "taking Oil of Oregano for SIBO" and there it was!!!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Thank you for all the information. This helps a lot. Great site for getting help and finding sanity. I'm all for helping myself, but it should not be so difficult to find this type of information. I didn't know SIBO existed until about a week ago when I was looking up why the gastroparesis was getting worse. Then I find out from this other individual that she got SIBO and then also started the internal tremors. I just saw my gastroenterologist two weeks ago, and we had the discussion about this getting worse and the bloating causing so much pressure on my heart, but not one mention about SIBO. I thought Cubby was the one vibrating when I saw him, as I just found out it's me and not Cubby this last week. Thanks again for the information.
