Yes. That had crossed my mind initially. Went to foot doc who took x-rays. Nothing noted. Also, my blood work showed no abnormal creatinine or other things that might contribute to gout. I will ask our new foot doc to check it out. Maybe he can figure out also why my foot and toes go snap, crackle, pop when I walk. lol.
John, I appreciate all your responses to my various issues. I was in perfect health most of my life, but in severe PN for the past seven years. Keep up the good work you are doing as a mentor at MayoConnect.

Did they run a test for uric acid? Think it’s called urate test.
