What construction will affect my visit at Mayo Rochester?
If you have future plans to visit Mayo Rochester, you should be aware there are many construction projects planned for next few years. Some affect street closures and parking. You should allow for additional time to arrive and park prior to your appointment.
Mayo Rochester has created a webpage to keep visitors up to date.

This is part of Rochester Mayo's Bold Forward Unbound project, new buildings and new parking, If interested, here is flyer about initiative:

Laurie, thank you for this great posting. As a ‘frequent flyer’ to Mayo-Rochester this is really helpful for future visits. Exciting times ahead for the Mother Ship! ☺️
Wow! And I heard there might be 10 more floors on Gonda at some point for patients with high end living & increased security needs? We just left Mayo, and there were a few lanes where traffic merged. It just means additional time for the traffic, no getting lost. I heard later there may be more shuttles when the parking lots are done? If you go to Graham parking ramp, seems obvious, but remember to go to the lowest level SL (subway level) to get to the tunnel. When we were there, the elevator was not working on a different level, 5:30 a.m.
@roch. Thank you for posting these updates in construction and plans to Mayo's Rochester campus. We will be there in November.
Nov 2024 Update:
Starting Sat, Nov 16th the entrance to Charlton / Methodist building will be closed. This including the vehicle drop-off, sidewalk, and entrance. Patients and visitors going to the Charlton, Eisenberg, or Jacobson Buildings must use the drop-off and entrance at the Jacobson Building, located at the intersection of Second Street Northwest and Second Avenue Northwest.
This does not affect Gonda / Mayo building entrance and drop off, but due to constructions on roads leading to entrance, expect delays in traffic and plan accordingly.
