I've had IBS-D and GAD for decades. I recently tried changing my antidepressant Bupropion to Effexor XR because I felt Bupropion wasn't working as well anymore. I then got intense gas pains and constipation. My GI said Effexor has shown those side effects so I discontinued. Mentally felt better on the Effexor but it wasn't worth the pain. I know brain and gut are related but reaction discourages me from trying a different antidepressant. Anyone else experience?
