Is there any med that relieves mild but constant pain?

What opioids were you on, and how did you quit? Did you have to go into a hospital to keep you from getting withdrawal effects?

I was on oxycodone. I’m thinking it was like 75 mg. a day. (It was over a year ago so I don’t remember exactly) I started weaning myself off 1 five mg. Pill a week. I started in May and finished on August 14, a memorable day. Had no withdrawal effects. Got rid of my constant itchy rash and constipation, too! No hospitalization, except for shoulder replacement surgery in June. That was the reason I started weaning myself off the oxycodone. I told my doctor what I was doing and he was okay with my method.
