@gravity3

I have not taken tymlos. I have taken forteo, alendronate and Evenity and just had my first injection of prolia. And ,yes, for me it is a matter of buying time and which risks I am willing to take. I have decided that I would rather risk possible side effects of the available drugs rather than the further deterioration of my bones due to the unmedicated process of osteoporosis. I know that I will die of something and for me this decision answers the question - will this lead to a better quality of life.

As one who has had a horrific rebound effect from stopping Prolia and going back to Boniva, just be aware you basically can’t stop taking Prolia, ever. Make sure you know all the risks and are prepared for them if you do decide to stop. I am on Tymlos now and hoping to recover some of my rebound lost bone mass after 3 compression fractures in 4 months. I can elaborate if needed. Good luck with whatever you try! This osteoporosis is not for sissies!!
