The black box warning about cancer from Tymlos or Forteo use has been removed. There are still old posts, probably will be forever, on the internet.
Twenty years plus of research has disproven the cancer theory, though it remains true for the rats that aroused the suspicion.
Endocrinologist are now prescribing both medication extending beyond the two year cancer warning limit.
There can be side effects. But, you can always stop the medication as the drug leaves the body withing 24 hours. So, if you were one of the unlucky few, you'd only suffer a day.
Some people do have allergic reaction to Tymlos. Best luck. It is one of the best drugs.
