@bunnybear , it's said I have extensive nerve damage. Started as a child with severe, chronic ear infections...my ear drums were bursted. Also eustachian tube disfunction. I do try OTC allergy meds, or sinus meds. Recently my Dr prescribed Singulair, and the list goes on and on. Nothing is helping.
I called my Dr Friday and im waiting to hear back with an appointment at a ENT.
Won't be the 1st time with ENT's either...I gave up, but ill try again. This time I feel different, almost like a constant head cold and loud crackling in my ears when I swallow.
Yes, the hearing aides help some, but like I said, somethings off with them too. I'm so fed up. I have had to ask for help with important phone calls or I literally freak out and hang up...embarrassing to keep asking to repeat themselves. Ill surely post back once I see another dr...thank you for your reply.

I’m almost three years into this and after seeing eight ENTs, and having balloon inflation on my Eustachian tubes, I guess I give up on help from ENTs. I believe my issue is related to having Covid, but nobody really knows.
I have also taken allergy meds which did not help, but made me even drier, which is already a problem.
I’m now seeing an upper cervical chiropractor to see if perhaps I have a compressed nerve. I have just started treatment, so don’t know if this is just another dead-end. After this much time it is hard to stay positive.
