Ongoing Sarscov2 Infection has over 200 symptoms.
This is not a question. Reading the questions, most of the questions have been written about in papers, articles, etc.
This is not medical advice. This is a summary of what I have read since 2020.
Sarscov2 is a pernicious virus. It causes liver damage, kidney damage, cardiovascular damage, eye damage, hearing damage, brain damage, gut damage.
If the initial covid infection doesn’t harm humans, sarscov2 still harms humans by causing:
Strokes
Cardiac arrest
Plaque in our arteries- leading to cardiac events
Aortic aneurysms
Cancer- including blood cancers
Depression- leading to suicide
Sepsis
Maternal health problems
Fetal health problems
Kidney damage
Diabetes
If anyone needs any
Papers about any of the health issues that Covid causes, please reach out to me.
I have had long covid since Dec 22. I have been a sarscov2 nerd since Jan 2020. I still follow research. I belong to other long covid forums.
I am off work due to the brain damage from 1 case of covid. The physical stuff is hard, but losing my ability to solve complex problems is the worst part.
I had sepsis last summer, and am so glad
To be alive.

I have been a nurse for 21 years and much of my work either directly or indirectly has involved mental health and addiction, but I have a strong focus on childhood trauma and it’s effects on mental and physical health. Childhood trauma can cause many pathologies so it wouldn’t be surprising that the effects can impact our ability to recover, since childhood trauma can cause autoimmune disease and significantly affects our immune system and inflammation.
I’m sorry you have had this experience. 21 years of nursing I had to take a break because of cognitive issues, I found myself second guessing myself and sometimes had trouble remembering or making decisions. It’s gotten better and I am back to nursing after two years, but still find myself struggling a little and am looking for other positions that would better suit me.
I'm not a nurse, but I understand brain fog/cognitive issues which I never had until long Covid hit me on Feb 17, 2024. Now, I still must retrace my steps to be sure I've done what I think I've done or sent that important email. Often I've not sent it, or made that important phone call. I hope there is an end date to these symptoms.
