Vaginal atrophy (atrophic vaginitis) is thinning, drying and inflammation of the vaginal walls that may occur when your body has less estrogen.

In my case, the labia became thinner and harder and developed painful splits. They are no longer are supple. The vagina itself doesn’t lubricaste and the skin became thinner. All of which can makes sexual painful.
