Anyone out there been diagnosed with Thoracic Polyneuropathy.

Hi @cats0cats2, I'm sorry to hear that you haven't found something that helps much after you started the discussion on Matthew B. Jensen videos. I haven't seen a discussion on Thoracic Polyneuropathy but there have been other comments where it has been mentioned. Here is a search that shows the members comments - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/?search=Thoracic%20Polyneuropathy.

Hoping you can connect with other members with similar experience and symptoms. If you haven't already tried Google Scholar, I've used it in the past to find the latest medical research on neuropathy and other conditions. Here is a search link using "Thoracic Polyneuropathy" - https://scholar.google.com/scholar?as_ylo=2024&q=Thoracic+polyneuropathy+treatment&hl=en&as_sdt=0,24

I had/have what felt like diabetic neuropathy in my left rib area which seems to be well treated with Pregabalin. Also a lot of late evening/nighttime itching has subsided as well.

Haven't found anyone on this Mayo Clinic site that has what I have. Not possible that I am that unique. WHAT is the cause is my biggest question that goes unanswered. AND how to get rid of the remaining issues from the neuropathy. 100's of tests have ruled out all the usual suspects. Opinions from the Dr's go from shrugging their shoulders to thinking what I had/have is a one off occurrance. Knowing why might help me to know how to avoid it from worsening or even help to me get rid of the remaining cinched up torso muscles from the large fiber neuropathy and small fiber neuropathy that remains around my body. I suspect the steroid treatment I had in pills and IV and more pills over a month or so in 23/24 relieved me from the unbearable pain and burning in my torso and leg. Just want/need to know more. Anyone know of another site that might have info about Thoracic Polyneuropathy.

There is a lot of information if you google it. Mine is caused by fractures in the thoracic. I fell. It fractured T7 and some other bones in my back. What you don’t include is have you had a back mri of your T1-T12. If you had one what did it show? Thoracic Neuropathy is caused by injury to your nerves T1-T12.

I am allergic to lyrica and neurotin. Those drugs are toxic.
Be careful if you start to notice memory loss. It is a side effect. My friend with MS had that problem when she went off the gabapentin her memory was back. She and her husband were excited they were really worried about her. I have over 50 drug allergies.

Other than ED and maybe some tiredness, I haven't noticed any side effects from either PreGabalin or GabaPentin. PreGabalin helps way more that the GabaPentin ever did.

FWIW I seem to tolerate most meds pretty well.
