Great advise! While I have whined about my hot flashes a bit, I would do it again, and probably will have more Lupron shots, if called for by your doctor I would never advise someone to refuse because of the side effects. Windrider354 is so right.

Hello 'ronc',
I have some experience as a caregiver. My wife was quadriplegic with MS for some 10 years. I started on Lupron about 3 months after she passed and had all the 'normal' side effects. Those would not have stopped me from my previous caregiver role though I would probably have slowed down somewhat. But still doable.
You are the GOOD partner to be the reliable caregiver. Keep up that precious work you provide and God Speed to you both. It ain't easy but you know you can do it.
