Have you heard about or read any articles about the connection between childhood trauma and LC? Apparently in the Twin cities area there is a support group program for such people. I'd appreciate hearing about any research about that connection that you have read.

I have been a nurse for 21 years and much of my work either directly or indirectly has involved mental health and addiction, but I have a strong focus on childhood trauma and it’s effects on mental and physical health. Childhood trauma can cause many pathologies so it wouldn’t be surprising that the effects can impact our ability to recover, since childhood trauma can cause autoimmune disease and significantly affects our immune system and inflammation.
