I had insoles made by a podiatrist, sanity saver. They take a imprint of your sole. No guess work can be used with any shoe that will accommodate insole and foot comfortably. As to foot drop orthotics here's two that are the best. Reasonably priced and almost perfect as well as versatile. Adjustable Drop Foot Brace Foot Up AFO Brace Unisex Fits for Right/Left Foot Orthosis Ankle Brace Support, Improve Walking Gait, Effective Relieve Pain for Achilles Tendon (Black)

AFO Drop Foot Brace Orthosis for Hemiplegia Stroke Varus Foot Improve Walking Gait, Effective Relieve Pain for Walking with Shoes, Lightweight & Invisible (XL, Left foot) Just copy and paste in Amazon. Tried to provide link and it put's Ya in my account 😉 No bueno, best wishes and life to all.

This should work better... Tenbo Adjustable Drop Foot Brace Foot Up AFO Brace Unisex Fits for Right/Left Foot Orthosis Ankle Brace Support, Improve Walking Gait, Effective Relieve Pain for Achilles Tendon (Black) sold by Stendort ----- Furlove AFO Drop Foot Brace Orthosis for Hemiplegia Stroke Varus Foot Improve Walking Gait, Effective Relieve Pain for Walking with Shoes, Lightweight & Invisible (XL, Left foot) Here's hoping, the first is great with any laced shoe. The second is good also for sandals, boots etc. As I put this together I also found options for the second one about half the price. Which I'm gonna try out. I had purchased a similiar brand but the XL was too small for my feet. They are rigid so just verify there's free return shipping before you buy.
