I had left hip replacement surgery about 8 years ago, now my left leg is weak and there is pain in the hip. Is there a time limit on replacing hips?

Courtney....I would recommend you contact your surgeon for a consult if you are having pain and weakness. This could be signs of an infection in your joint. I had infection occur 15 years after my implant and only had about 4 days warning of it, although it had been brewing in there for quite some time. Please get it checked out ASAP......Cindy
