I have been using medical marijuana for about 6 years and was lucky at the beginning to get counseled by a wonderful man who said to go slow and low. My med. marijuana doctor had ordered too much and at too high a level. I needed it so much before I had my right hip replaced. So I take half of a 10:10 of THC to CBD. I always do the 1:1 as I don't get high. James had told me that the CBD would offset the THC's highness. Since I have balance problems, I don't want to get highor dizzy It helps take away the pain and really helps me sleep. I hope this helps.

Hi, If marijuana is legal in your state, then go to a reputable dispensary and ask for a consult with someone. They should be able to advise you on what products you need. You don't need much to start. I would recommend a vial of liquid 1;1 CBD and THC. The CBD is calming and the THC is for the pain. The THC will cause weirdness if you take too much. I had to have Gamma surgery on a brain tumor-meningioma. They put a helmet on your head and screw it in. It doesn't hurt as they give you lidocaine. When they took the helmet off, I was very sick and had a massive headache. My neuro surgeon knew I took marijuana and had me to bring it in. He had the nurse administer it- it was a vial of 1CBD: 1THC and she put the liquid under my tongue.. Within minutes the headache and nausea were gone. I would not take it with your other drugs unless you check with your doctor. Have a good evening.

I buy various CBD products from Lazarus Naturals. You can get some with a small amount of THC. You don't need a prescription and they have a program for low income clients and Veteran's that gives 40 to 60 percent off. I have peripheral neuropathy and scoliosis that it helps. You can call them on the phone and they are very good about giving information.

@raebaby I also use Lazarus Naturals, and find they have been a great company to work with.

Absolutely OK to share your experience with what has helped you, including brand names and products.

I use Voltaren Arthritis gel for shoulder joint pain and sometimes Salonpas patches.

Thanks for that clarification jenatsky, much appreciated. I didn't know there was a bupe patch for pain. I'm glad it works for you.

If you ever did stop using the patch, I wonder if you would go through withdrawal symptoms similar to sublingual use of bupe. Did your Dr. talk about this?

@heyjoe415 I have not discussed going off the Buprenorphine patch and see no reason to consider it. I’ve got primary spinal OA, spinal stenosis, peripheral neuropathy and with the patch my pain level hovers around 4 out of 10. I use cannabis gummies now for breakthrough pain control and I haven’t needed any Percocet since using cannabis gummies.

I have gone on line and can only find hemp extract gummies w/ 1000's of mg of CBD, where the one you displayed is 20 mg. Do you mind sharing w/ me where you purchase this product and is it really 20 mg of CBD?

I used the vendor’s website. That is the only information that I have.
