@bettyg81pain, Sorry to hear you haven't found anything to provide relief for your neuropathy pain. I was diagnosed at Rochester Mayo Clinic with idiopathic small fiber peripheral neuropathy after 20 years of letting it keep progressing without knowing for sure it was neuropathy. Sadly after I was diagnosed the neurologist told me the same thing that all of my PCPs did over the years - there is no treatment for the numbness and drugs only help provide relief for the pain from neuropathy. That's what brought me to Connect back in 2016. If you don't have a diagnosis or don't feel like the diagnosis is correct that would be a good reason to seek help at Mayo or other major hospitals or teaching hospitals. I don't have any medical background but think each of us has to be our own advocate and learn as much as we can about our condition and the treatments that are available.
