Supplemental income to SSI working as an EVS in a orthopedic center has left me with numbness across top of right hand after using their industrial strength cleaning chemicals, namely ecolab a-456. After 3.5 years the dermal absorption took its toll from using such worthless gloves...employer aramark claims no fault. ALJ just finished a totally biased determination on a WC claim. the gloves employer had us using were the cheapy exam gloves that sell for 4 cents in bulk that are 3 mil in the palm...time for a civil suit with a jury

@fairwinds24, I'd like to add my welcome. I merged the 2 discussions you started today into one discussion in the Neuropathy support group where you can more easily connect with others.

As you mentioned, toxic neuropathy is nerve damage caused by toxic (harmful) substances. Toxins are listed as a cause of peripheral neuropathy on many reputable medical sites, including Mayo Clinic. See "Causes":
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/peripheral-neuropathy/symptoms-causes/syc-20352061
Excerpt
"Exposure to poisons. Toxic substances include industrial chemicals and heavy metals such as lead and mercury."

It sounds like the issue is that your employer and insurance parties are not recognizing the cause and effect, rather than it not being recognized by the medical field. I'm so sorry that you are having to battle compensation due to you.

Is there a class action suit you can join or have you?
