it is my brilliant idea that at 76 y o i have always needed hormone replacement to keep my bones healthy i eat yogurt and cheese pretty much daily. personally i'd choose bioidenticals over synthetic hormones. they are expensive and made at a compound pharmacy. so with the recent needing a walker to move around i am taking estriol. my primary care dr has given me a script. i hope we all find a conclusive way to treat our mobility in our old age.

Keep us posted on your progress. Very interested in HRT vs the osteoporosis drugs available.

Just wanted to mention that most estradiol patches purchased from conventional pharmacies are also bioidentical. Alora, Climara, Esclim, Estraderm, Vivelle, Vivelle-Dot, Minivelle, and Menostar, Mylan are all bioidentical. It's a much less expensive option than compounded HRT.
