NET monthly Samotuline Depot injections seem to cause increasing sores on face and around exterior lips. Help!

Yes, I started Biotin ( 10K, once a day). My hair still falls off, but what is left is stronger, and a bit curly 🙂
My endocrinologist mentioned that Biotin interferes with thyroid results, and I just had blood work on 9/30. Will see how it affects thyroid hormones...

Hello @pavlina60

You posted that you were having blood work done at the end of September. Did you get the results yet? I was wondering how the thyroid levels were doing after taking the Biotin. When its convenient, could you post an update?

Hello! I did have blood work done and then saw the endocrinologist. He said he did not see anything unusual so I will keep taking it. My hair is still falling, but I think a lot less.

Oh, I'm glad to hear that your blood work results were good. @pavlina60. If the hair loss is lessening, that is great. How much Biotin are you taking daily?

@penynah: Are you still seeing boil/sty/pimple sores on face after Lanreotide 28 day injection?
This month I have been receiving Lanreotide injections since 2021 and have had little relief from the pain of these sores. My Oncologist does not think there is a connection. 🙁
These sores are predictable so the only thing that seems to help them heal faster is by applying something to dry the skin, i.e. acne meds, retinol, metronidazole gel.
What has helped your skin breakouts? All info appreciated…
