Brain Zaps

I am on Exemestane with little side effects. Whatever aches and pains I get are tolerable. I have been getting these "head/ brain zaps " that last 30 secs from time though and am wondering if anyone else has experienced these. I feel them on my head diagnol from the corner of my eyes. Usually I feel on my left side , but sometimes on the right. They are never ' zappy' at the same time.

Could this be trigeminal neuralgia? You mention "brain zaps" but do you think the "zaps" are specifically coming from the trigeminal facial nerve?

Didnt think this was connected but since u mention facial nerve .. sometimes when I smile the sides of my checks twitch. Figured this was a symptom of meds too. Just not scarey like a brain zap feeling.

I thought of trigeminal neuralgia when you mentioned it coming from the corner of your eyes.

I have only seen the term "brain zap" in reference to withdrawal from SSRI's.

I hope you have a neurologist who can evaluate this!
