@gently

broken13, you might consider a second round with Forteo or a couple of years with Tymlos.
Neither are thought to cause cancer and the limits on both have been lifted. I think they build the best bone.

@gently I was not aware that the 2 year limit had been lifted on Tymlos. If so I would be happy. Can you share a link?

@kristie2, Prolia would have to be forever for @broken3 if she cannot tolerate bisphosphonates. (I am starting to believe I am in the same boat with bisphosphonates, which are needed after other meds at some point).

There is no question Forteo saved my life. I had signed up for MAID as nothing was working and I was fracturing laying in bed! Forteo finally kicked in, and my spine started to recover. Very greatful. However, I did contact Forteo myself regarding redoing a course of this. I had done the full 24 months 5 years ago. They told me very clearly: "You need to look at other options". This was through the nursing line the I still had a care card for. She also told me they were shutting down as of Dec 2024. So that is why I will be starting Evenity. IF I can get paperwork sorted, as I cannot afford $800.00 a month.
