Hello fellow broken people!...and moderator. I have a SCS implant. FYI I am extremely pleased with it. It has been placed for five years. I have very acutely developed cardiac symptoms(10 days now) that are getting increasingly more severe. I have seen my primary and cardiologist already and have testing scheduled for holter, echo and treadmill. However the symptoms are getting a little scary. My primary care was getting some interference from the stimulator on the ECG so he mentioned that MAYBE it may be causing electrical interference. I honestly thought that was probably not the cause. After coming across you guys I'm going to look into a little more. I shut it down about ten minutes ago to test. So far still having same cardiac symptoms(replicated by my Kardia, auscultation). I will let update the thread if I find out anything related to the stimulator.

For those of you weighing the pros/cons. Talk to your cardiologist, neurologist and pain specialist. For me and my personal experience with a number of health conditions the spinal cord stimulator was the best decision ever made for my quality of life!

@kwolfe Welcome to Connect and thank you for your helpful comments. I'll be interested to hear what your testing reveals and what your specialists recommend.
