Reclast side effects

@dingus sorry but many of us do have to take Reclast or we lose all the gains we got from the other drugs. I have terrible GERD and cannot do Fosamax. The other option is fracture, which I have done 7 times.

I am having side effects and am feeling between a rock and a hard place. Not sure if you can address each side effect separately with the appropriate doctor. The endos really can't undo it but maybe other doctors can treat symptoms/side effects.

My doctor is absolutely concerned with my well-being and not protecting himself or anyone else. However, in my experience, doctors aren't well-versed in side effects. In fact, they just go on google when asked. Pharmacists know more.

I have already heard the line "I haven't heard that from anyone else." Well, I am telling my doctor about my side effects so he cannot say that to someone else!

Windyshores So sorry to hear about your GERD. But with everything I've read on these posts, it just seems like Reclast is being pushed hard by Big Pharma and in turn by doctors. With all the pharmaceutical companies in the world, and more and more Baby Boomers entering the golden age of bad bones, surely they can come up with a drug that doesn't have all these horrible side effects.
