experiences with duloxetine (Cymbalta) for PN?
I have idiopathic peripheral neuropathy. I have tried gababpentin & oxycarbazapine without success. My doctor recently prescribed me duloxetine (Cymbalta) 30 mg. Anyone have success with this? If so, how long did it take to notice results?
What was your experience on duloxetine?

I’m afraid of taking medications with no end game I’ve reduced my gabapentin without my doctors knowledge I have some pain but I take Tylenol when it becomes too bad went from 1800 mg to 600 my goal is to get off it by the end of the year. Using accupuncture and massage
yep, Cymbalta---Thanks for the catch! Have you upped the dosage to 60 yet? When I made the same move last year, I experienced quite a bit of fatigue and scaled back down to 30. Hope all goes well for you!
Yes, I strated at 30 and after a month I asked to increased it to 60.
I have good energy but sleep is still an issue.
my insurance agent warned re: dose of gabapentin not to go over 300 mg. I am staying at 100 mg
Don't listen to an inasurance agent. I'm an in surance agent, no way someone other than your dr. should advise you.
I was on Gapapentin (PCP) and went to 300 mg and only gained 25 pounds. No help.
Ahead 2 yurs. My NEUROLIGIST ordered Cymbalta 60mg. 50% better with PN. Also my joints feel much better.
I am having great sucess with CYM (60MG). tRIED gap AND NOTHING BUT WEIGHT GAIN.
6mg is good for me now. Only on it since Aug 24. Plenty of energy.
Only on since Aug 24 -60mg.
