I agree that I was the right candidate for PMR too. I've always gotten vaccines, but this year, I am scared of getting a flare when I'm so close to ending my run of Prednisone.

My diet is great, I exercise, get plenty of sleep, and am in generally good health. I'll blame my Norwegian ancestors for my PMR!

Okay if and that is a big if you get a flare up you could pop an extra 1mg for a week or so and get it back in its box. My left shoulder will probably always be weaker so the needle itself was enough to wake that up. The next night I thought the other shoulder was aching but I still managed an hour on a Stairmaster which meant legs were jelly but shoulders felt better. I do understand why you are hesitant though.
