Has anyone had a hysteroscopy?

@doesitcomeinglitter no, I don’t have access to Mayo. It was done in our local hospital. I live in Ontario, Canada.

The first attempt at a hysteroscopy was at a clinic but I couldn’t go through with it because it was too painful and one cannot have sedation at a doctor’s office or clinic. Only hospitals can administer anaesthesia.

Yes, wasn’t looking to be knocked out, just a local anesthetic, numbing, which can be done in office though they often don’t want to.
Sorry I was confused. You said you don’t have access to mayo…isn’t this the Mayo Connect community for Mayo patients…?
My cardiologist and psychiatrist home in Chicago both had concerns with my stress level and BP spiking from pain, as it seems they force you to attempt it in office before even considering setting it up in the hospital. Which seems honestly like a waste of time, money and resources if there is reason to believe certain patients won’t tolerate it.
They called me in a vallium to the mayo pharmacy that I’ll pick up in the AM.
