Most certainly speak to your pulmonologist. I hope they are as supportive and as caring as mine. She’s the one who suggested Temple to me for clinical trials.
And kdalda75 is correct you cannot have any inserts in your body like inspire, pacemaker I assume or valves. I don’t recall the ages the trial was limited to but I was 73 when I had it done. The nice thing was if I hadn’t gotten the actual treatment at the end of the trial I would’ve gotten it.

Thank you for your encouragement! I had a CT today.. We will see what they say. I will be talking to my Pulmonoligest.

There have been times that researchers and the powers that be have allowed a procedure on a "compassionate basis." Worth a try. Personally. I don't understand the age limitations for offering a patient relief, less suffering and pain and a better quality of care. Does that mean that because you are 88 you don't deserve that.....only deserved it at 73. You didn't have this problem at 73 albeit!
