I had gotten each covid shot and mingled with no problems, but I missed the last shot that I should have taken last November. Instead, I took it 5 days after I was exposed to covid. 5 days after the shot I got covid, but it was also 5 days into the incubation period. So for me, I plan to get both the flu shot and the covid shot. I never want another case of covid. I had Pfizer vax .
Re flu: In 2005 I was hospitalized for the flu. I never had a flu shot. I've gotten flu shots every year since and despite a few exposure ops, I never caught it again.

Will you get both vaxes at once? I get them separately, so that if I have a reaction, I’ll know which one caused it. My aunt got both last week and ended up in the hospital. She was already very weak and on dialysis. I was shocked her doctor gave her both at once. She was supposed to go home today.

I was vaccinated in July 2021. I know I got it again in 22. That was the no taste for like three weeks and amped up my other symptoms. Then had it two more times. My Cardiologist said don’t get it. I have too many medical things going on that I’m going to trust him. Also, I have an appointment tomorrow with my PCP. I’ll see if she mentions it. She used to the first two years every time I saw her. Then, my Long Covid Dr. hasn’t mentioned it either. I will talk to them too. It seems weird this year that they aren’t pushing it. Hunh
