I mentioned that I could not stand longer than 5 minutes to fix meal. If it isn't a microwave meal, than it is just a Ensure to get my protein. I mentioned to the judge that my job which I performed for 13 years (from which I was terminated due to my recovery), I drove the facility bus and took resident's to appointments, drives, and outings. I told the judge that I do not drive because I could not think straight enough, to make sure I would us the break when I should, or drive on my side of the road. So there was no way I could perform that or my day to day job of keeping residents with dementia safe while they were with me in the building, let alone in a moving vehicle with me driving it. She said she was not aware that was part of my job. I told her that was because all the areas I had to complete to file, did not request information like that. If I were you, I would take notes throughout the day, noting any problems you have while performing your act of daily living. These will help you when/if you get to the portion of the process to speak to the judge who has the final judgement. Good luck. It is a long process to go through.
