The pain blockers they used lasted longer than I thought they would and I was also given Valium for a week. Sore and tight but not unbearable with extra strength Tylenol. Sleeping was miserable. Had to be propped up and on my back the whole time. The drain tubes were not fun- so happy just to have them removed. They gave me a special pillow to use for the car to keep safe from seat belt. Slowly integrated some exercises and stretching I was told to do after drain removal. Still do them but feeling more human now. Implants take a lot to get used too. They still feel foreign to me but happy so far.
