When I had my Gastroperisous test I was given scrambled eggs with the xray “dye” in it and 2 toast sandwiches with margarine and jam and a little bit of water. My digestive system is 4 hours behind.

Your test is close to what I believe the "standard" test is supposed to be. From what I can gather the test should be egg whites - 2 scrambled, white toast - 2 slices, jam and water - 4oz. No margarine/butter. The reason no eggs or margarine, the fat content which can delay emptying. And yes, the radiotracer (I believe that is the name) goes in the eggs after being cooked.
Thanks!
