Sue- Thirty-five minutes is a nice walk....but not your usual apparently. How long did you walk before the Covid bout? Do you do that every day with the other exercises you have often mentioned? You sent in a sputum sample last month, if I remember correctly. Results yet?
I am looking forward to hearing my PFT and CScan results this coming week while in Tyler. Do hope we get good reports, sputum test results and all medical test reports.

I typically walk one hour about 5 times a week, alternating
All-out (for me) fitness walk that alternates 2 min of very fast walking with 2 minutes one day
A steady cardio-paced walk the next day
A scenic walk the third day
Skip a day
Repeat days one & two
Skip a day
This can be replaced on some days (not now with hurt shoulder) with vigorous yard work or mowing our lawn with a power mower or an outing with my "not-so littles." Also, I don't need the Aerobika or any other help when I do this, but I'm sure other walkers wonder about me - about halfway through my walk and again at the end, I cough up whatever is lurking in my lungs -especially on the fast walk days.

The issue I have right now is that while I had Covid, they added 3 meds for my heart and I don't know which is affecting my ability - meds or post-Covid - but my heart rate recovery is slower than it used to be. But - no chest tightness or excessive sweats - YAY! That was affecting me for a couple years now.

As for the 3rd sputum sample - it came back (again) "insufficient for culture" - Grrr! The RT I will see Wednesday may help me do it, and probably repeat my PFT because it was really bad last time I saw the doc (during Covid.) Also have my CT scan that day. Hoping for a great report!

Good luck with your appointments this week!
