I have not, however my diabetic brother does have neuropathy in his feet and arms.
I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in the early 80's and my PCP and VA benefits exam diagnosed me with PN in the summer of 2010. It started in the toes of my right foot with stabbing pain but now includes my left foot and some in my arms and hands, which are no where as bad as my feet. The VA issues me with diabetic shoes with inserts, which helps me a lot. The pain really strikes me when reclining in a recliner with my feet up and when I go to bed.
I don't have much problem when up and walking.
The pain in bed at night makes falling asleep difficult so I have been taking Melatonin 5mg coupled with a chewable tablet of "Mid-Nite" which helps me over the hump.
